Why not cover your pool for the winter rather than having to do all that messy cleaning in the Spring? A winter pool cover will prevent leaves, dirt, and debris from entering your pool this Winter. With a winter pool cover, you will avoid that inconvenient spring clean-up caused by rain, snow, ice, and algae which can easily form in an uncovered pool.
Safety pool covers usually come in two varieties: Mesh & Solid. Both types of safety covers are anchored to a deck with straps that pull the cover taut over the pool; the straps usually attach to stainless steel springs and are anchored to recessed brackets in a deck surface. When the cover is removed, deck brackets that are not already flush with the deck can be screwed down to prevent tripping or toe-stubbing. Because the straps need to be anchored down, mesh covers generally require at least two to three feet of decking all around the pool.
Tired of removing those heavy, smelly, decaying leaves from your pool cover each spring? A Leaf Net is the answer! Simply lay the Leaf Net on top of your winter cover before the leaves fall, and remove it before the hard freeze hits. The Leaf Net's fine mesh traps the leaves and removes them from your pool so spring clean up is a snap.
The leaf net is designed to stay on top of your winter pool cover until all the leaves have fallen from the surrounding trees. Remove the leaf net by slowly dragging it off the winter cover along with the leaves. Clean the leaves off the leaf net, DRY IT, and store in a cool dry place until next year.
It's that time of the season when you need to start closing your pool for the fall and winter months. Make sure you have the chemicals you need to keep your pool clean and fresh during these months.
