Inground Pool Kit Permit Process
Obtaining a permit for an inground pool kit is not that difficult
Some states require a signed and sealed set of engineered plans
with your name included on it.
Everywhere else you can get a permit with a dig spec and our standard engineered plan set.
We include the generic sealed sets with each inground pool kit. If you are in an area
that requires a signed and sealed set specially made for you, worry not. We have engineers that are registered
in the 48 continental states. The cost of each set varies by state which
includes the plans being signed and sealed by an engineer licensed in your state.
Most areas only require 1 copy of the plans be original, and photocopies for the rest are ok.
Check with your local building officials to determine how many sets you require.
If you require signed and sealed plans, contact us so we can get that process started for you.
For everyone else, you will only need the generic copy of the engineered plans and a
dig specification sheet for the pool. The dig sheets are located next to each pool in the
cost estimator.
